What are my responsibilities when purchasing research materials?

Customers are responsible for ensuring Products are lawfully purchased, possessed and used within their jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable laws, institutional requirements and accepted laboratory practices.

What quality standards does AMINOSPX follow?

AMINOSPX partners with carefully selected manufacturing facilities and operates a progressive quality documentation programme. Independent laboratory testing is commissioned over time to support transparency and provide researchers with product-specific quality documentation where available.

How does AMINOSPX verify product identity and purity?

Where applicable, AMINOSPX commissions independent laboratory analysis to support product identity and purity. Supporting documentation is published where available and may include analytical techniques such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Mass Spectrometry (MS), impurity profiling and other laboratory methodologies relevant to the Product.

What testing does AMINOSPX perform?

Depending on the Product and available documentation, independent laboratory analysis may include HPLC, Mass Spectrometry (MS), identity verification, impurity profiling, residual solvent analysis where applicable and other analytical methodologies relevant to the Product.

What is High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)?

HPLC is an analytical laboratory technique commonly used to assess the purity of chemical compounds by separating components within a sample to evaluate purity and detect impurities where applicable.

What is Mass Spectrometry (MS)?

Mass Spectrometry (MS) is an analytical technique used to verify molecular identity by measuring the mass-to-charge ratio of molecules.

How does AMINOSPX help ensure product quality?

AMINOSPX's quality programme includes carefully selected manufacturing partners, supplier qualification processes and the progressive commissioning of independent laboratory documentation.

How often are Products independently tested?

Independent laboratory documentation is progressively commissioned across the AMINOSPX product range. Existing Products may be periodically reviewed while updated documentation may be commissioned where manufacturers or production sources change.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A COA is a laboratory document that may provide information relating to a Product's identity, purity and other analytical characteristics. Where available, COAs are published to support scientific transparency.

Why doesn't every Product have a published COA?

AMINOSPX progressively commissions and publishes independent laboratory documentation across its product range. Where a COA has not yet been published, this does not necessarily indicate that manufacturer quality controls or supporting documentation are absent.

Where can I view available COAs?

Available Certificates of Analysis can be accessed from the relevant Product page and through the AMINOSPX COA Library.

Why does AMINOSPX publish COAs?
