TB-500 is a synthetic N-acetylated seven-amino-acid peptide corresponding to residues 17–23 of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide found throughout mammalian cells and tissues.

Known by the sequence Ac-LKKTETQ, TB-500 isolates a defined region of the much larger parent peptide, providing researchers with a compact model for exploring peptide-fragment biology, actin-associated systems, cytoskeletal organisation and cellular communication.
