Overview

Epitalon, also known as Epithalon or Epithalone, is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of four amino acids—alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and glycine (AEDG)—developed from research into Epithalamin, a complex peptide preparation derived from the pineal gland.

Its minimal structure provides researchers with a defined model for exploring short-peptide signalling and its relationship with circadian biology, gene regulation, chromatin and telomere biology.
